Circlolink's RFiD THREADS® is the world’s first washable RFID tool housed in a single thread; it is the only bulk scanning Digital Product Passport (DPP) thread that stays with the product for life and can continue to collect full LCA data.
Circlolink is both a centralised and decentralised smart tech data collection and communication platform to connect products to a circular economy.
It is a B2B solution supporting full product circularity at-scale plus B2C to support "product custodians". Each RFiD THREADS® creates a unique QR Code or NFC for customer education plus is blockchain enabled by request.
Scanned by affordable UHF commercial RFID readers the RFiD THREADS® connects to the Circlolink App cloud platform to efficiently bulk scan 100s of products simultaneously plus continuously add new data.

As products move around 4 Stages of a circular economy Circlolink connects both forward supply chains and reverse logistics value chains, sharing and adding new open source data throughout the lifecycle for brands and consumers.
STAGE 1 Add data related to circular design strategies to assist with certification and standards. Increase B2B omni-channel supply-chain management efficiency and bulk scan thousands of products instantly in addition to it's "Base Data".
Brands can choose to connect their own Supply Chain Management system via a software "bridge" to enhance efficiency including product returns via a password protection to re-join the SCM. If connected to a SCM, then this is disconnected at Point-of-Sale or by request by the brand. Only the "Base Data" becomes open source.
STAGE 2 is the B2C connection. When the RFiD THREADS® is first scanned it creates a unique QR Code for customer engagement.

STAGE 3 Retains Base Data which is offered as open source access to the resource recovery sector by using a conventional UHF commercial RFID reader. Assists "R" providers to create new circular business models plus provides inter-industry collaboration at scale engaging all size businesses from SMEs to global providers.
Businesses can create partnerships with "R" providers to increase their ROI. The "R" sector collects the data for the brands plus accesses the Base Data to increase efficiency especially for resale and rent showing materials, measurements and authentication.
Repair, redesign, reuse, remake will extend the products life. A simple scan to add information on when, where, who and what will assist brands to report their products repairability, usability and durability.
By retaining the information on who the original brand is, this creates a shared responsibility at STAGE 4 recycling plus helps support safer feedstocks and recycling formulas.

Imagine the thread is removed by recyclers and determines the 100 wash thread has another 50 wash capability, this can enter the Secondary Market eg. reset and re-sell at half price for homewares, mattresses etc products that do not require regular washing and pay OG brands rebates.
